  1. Hearing some coil whine on my MSI 4090 Suprim X and was just wondering if its normal nowadays? Used to have 1080ti from 2017 till now and i don't remember it having any noticeable coil whine atleast, had a reference 7900 xtx for awhile and it had louder coil whine than my 4090, in normal desktop use no coil whine, but in games locked at 144fps i can hear some coil whine if i have my headphones off, if i have them on i can't hear the coil whine at all, removing the fps limit coil whine gets a bit louder but i can't hear it if i have my headphones on, so is it normal having some coil whine in high end cards nowadays? Also wondering if my thermals are normal, since the hotspots have been kinda high in my furmark tests, or is furmark too "extreme" testing method? Like can any game stress the card the same way as furmark does? Link to furmark tests/time spy extreme
  2. No not really, ended up returning my 7900 xtx, planning to get a AIB model or 4090 soon
  3. Figured out that apparently the idle power issue on multi monitors cause the graphics score on 3dmark to decrease by alot so that solves that problem but does 5800x really bottleneck the 7900 xtx? I never see the cpu usage go above 80%, is my info old or wrong because i thought that it bottlenecks if the usage is 100%?
  4. XMP/DOCP should be enabled, smart access memory also, I've Reinstalled drivers 4 timers with DDU now, chipset drivers and bios i updated just now with no difference in performance really Ran the cpu benchmark in 3dmark and compared it to the others it should be running normally, haven't done any tests on ram yet
  5. Specs: Windows 10 64 bit latest version Bios: 2604 Asus ROG STRIX B550-E Amd Ryzen 7 5800x Powercolor 7900 XTX G.Skill (4 x 8GB) Trident Z RGB, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16 Evga Supernova 750w g3 So the issue i'm having is that my 7900 xtx is way behind in fps/scores than the others for some reason, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 at 4k, i get around 55-60fps while others seem to get around 100fps, Used the same settings as the person in this video and i got around 55-60, i don't think the difference between 5800x and 5800x3d should be that big.. I've undervolted the gpu from 1150mv to 1050, increased memclock from 2498 to 2714 and limited the min clock speed to 2500 and max to 2600 because it should basically run the same as stock or better, according to this video 3Dmark Time Spy Extreme scores are way behind aswell most benchmarks i've seen are around 14000-15000, Here's my best run so far https://www.3dmark.com/spy/33662081 and the latest run https://www.3dmark.com/spy/33666612 which was run with clock speed min at 2300 and max 2400 They just seem to be really inconsistent,
  6. Yeah but it ran better on very low, i did some small oc's and that helped i think or guess its server dependant fps i mean..
  7. i also tried 1920x1080 which was running pretty much perfectly but it just looks 5times worse lol
  8. max temps gpu reached was 72c/161F and around the same for cpu so..
  9. So basically my problem is i have 50-80fps and it feels like i have max of 20fps.. and i'm running Freesync also I know it's an early alpha game but it shouldn't lag like this These are my ingame settings https://pastebin.com/raw/1XH4Z0N4 PC Specs are: i7-4790k 4ghz, r9 390 8gb, 16gb ram
  10. Well i am from Finland, and well i mainly play matchmaking, haven't gotten into esea, faceit or anything like that yet. Only reason i am considering that 244hz benq is because its on sale for 380€ and normally its around 500€
  11. Well mostly play games(csgo for example), watch youtube, netflix etc.. normal stuff yano
  12. As the title says, i'm looking for a new monitor, looking for atleast 144hzmaximum price is around 450€/500$i have r9 390 gpu so i can use freesync.Currently i've been looking at this BenQ 25" ZOWIE XL2540, which has no freesyncIs freesync worth it? So yeah, give me your suggestions on monitors.. without freesync or with
  13. I disabled it from task manager -> services -> windows defender/firewall and properties and disabled it on auto startup etc.
  14. https://gyazo.com/b15cc0da46eb9b91eeff7e433bbfa21d i dont see where to disable it as there is no task..
  15. Ok so the problem is that i can't turn off Windows Defender no matter what, it always keeps turning itself on, i tried disabling it with regedit, gpedit.msc(group policy i believe), control panel and from windows defender. It just keeps turning itself on
