  1. This is quite a great projector. It's quite expensive in my country, but I must admit it is worth the price. Assuming it looks like the Linus Tech Tips video, it got the best quality I've seen in a projector in a really compact size. It would be cool to take it to my school for example to project some stuff and games or to have it in my living room. Anyways, we're so lucky that LTT got a sponsorship from a brand as good as LG
  2. Thanks, I'll think about it!
  3. The only problem I see is the battery life (because I'm going to use it for school also). But thank you!
  4. Hi! This community have always answered my buying questions in the past, and I'm going to USA this December, so I want to ask you this: a laptop with these specs: 15" display (13 is too small, 17 big but considerable, pixel count isn't that important. Touch if available) A good Core i7 (I'm not that good with processors, so tell me why you choose it, please) Nvidia 970m (or 980m) 8 to 16 GB RAM SSD and HDD (you choose the size, it is not that important for me) Slim Fans unhearable when idle 3 (or more) USB ports Good battery life. BD/DVD optional. SD Card Slot Thunderbolt (optional, but helpful in the future) Backlit keyboard (better if programmable) Less (or close) $3K I'm going to use this for 2-D and 3-D animation, digital art and video rendering, some gaming, take to trips and to the classroom, usable for 4+ years. So if you see some laptop that is better for me that doesn't match this specs, tell me why. This is for an upgrade of the Sony Vaio S 15" that I have. So thank you, and help me please.
  5. Pese a haber reiniciado varias veces, me sigue apareciendo este error. ¿Alguna solución? Hey, I have this question: Using the Media Creation Tool, I prepared a USB with W10 Pro x64 (As my Windows 8.1 Pro x64) with a Surface. Later, on my laptop, running "Setup.exe" I have a Pop-up window that says (not exactly, the error is in spanish so I translated it) Windows 10 Instalation Prograam The Instalation Program couldn't start correctly. Restart the PC and try again. After restarting several times, I still have this error. Any idea?
  6. As I'm going to enter a new school which allows me to bring a tablet to take my notes, I'm looking for a tablet that can suit the following needs: Long battery life Fast and stable No that big cappacity as I'm going to work with the cloud I'm not that into gaming in mobile devices, but if I play, at least to have good battery. I'm an Android fan, but lately I have considering the Ipad Mini 3. Is it a good choice? Apple fans, It is a good time to buy now, or Apple may be getting a new model soon? Thank you, and sorry for my bad english. P.S. Does Nvidia Shield-tingy works for other tablets (Talking about my dad's Cintiq Companion Hybrid) ?
  7. Hi, I have this Problem. My cousin is a DJ and he needs a laptop to work with on the go. He got his old Toshiba Satellite T215D with Windows 7 32 Bits on it. It is really slow and it can't boot the software he needs because of it's bad specs. So we're trying to install Windows 8.1 because it is lighter. So the thing is: I have the iso file in my pc, and we can't put it on a USB because our budget is limited, so we figured out that we could do it with a LAN cable. Neither him or me know how to do this, and we only got my laptop (Sony Vaio S15) and his Toshiba, so my question is: Can anybody give me the step-by-step guide of how to install the OS in a way that a Noob can understand it? It would help us a lot. (Sorry for my bad English, as it is not my main language)
  8. If it is the one that I think it is is the Hitachi hts547575A9E384 As it appears on the Task Mananger. I tried running various diagnostic tools but most says that it is fine, also, I don't get any improvements doing defragmentation.
  9. As I'm kind of new to this forums I don't know if I should be posting this question here, but still, if you can help me with the thing, I would appreciate it. You'll see: When I bought this laptop (back in 2012) it ran smoothly as heaven, but got really slow with the time, it got slow startups and laggy with MS Word. I tried cleaning it, and in fact, it had a lot of dust, but still I didn't get that smooth feeling. With Task Mananger I saw that my RAM and CPU are always in a low state, meaning that it is the disk that always is at 100%. I tried buying a ext.Hard Drive to equilibrate the things, but the HDD is always at 0% of usage and C: is at 100%. In short, I want to buy an SSD to install Windows there with some basic software (like Chrome, etc.) and have an Ext. Hard Drive for the Games and Editing Software. What 250-500 GB SSD is the fastest without paying more than 500 USD. Thank you, and sorry for my bad english
  10. About the phone: It's been a while that Sony announces the waterproof concept on their phones, and I actually have been thinking about other android phone (I have the S3, and due my needs, it is getting kinda slow and old), so why not. I use to watch You Tube videos alot and the front speakers are a great thing. Also, I record too many things on phones, and the resolution is amazing. I love the skin, I love the phone. About dbrand: It is good that brands help Linus Tech Tips with their sponsors, and it is better if it is a quality product. I've visited their page, and they seem to make really good skins to many devices, and really good quality. They're awesome (sad they don't produce Nintendo skins ). But yeah, only visiting them made me want to suggest 'em to everyone that is looking foward to skins.
  11. Hi, exactly what do you mean with "before windows boots", do i have to install it on the ext.HDD or what?
  12. Hi, I'm WinKevin1, new user in the forums. I got this problem: I bought a Sony Vaio S 15" 2012, and it was great when I bought it. But these 2 years of installing software, downloading plugins, games, etc. had made it way slower. Seeing Task Mananger, I saw that when it was laggy all specs were ok, exept HDD, so I tought. "I can have a external hdd of 2TB and then copy my actual drive (545 GB occupied) and then turn back to fabric specs". I waited a couple of days and when the drive came in, I copied my disc drive, and it took like 5 hours, and when it was at 100 gb copied, it said that there was an error, and it couldn't finish. I visited many forums, and i saw that i need an special software. Can you please recommend me a software capable of: Copying the whole HDD of my laptop Leave the remaining space intact All files, software, games, OS, etc. copied Easy for a total Noob to use Compatible with Windows 8.1 Pro x64 Thank you P.S. I have too many files in too many different locations, so thats why i cant just drag 'em up. Also, my english is not that good, so please forgive me for any mistake.
