  1. It's the whole FX platform and CPU that is the issue. Trust me on this or please do your research.
  2. I am proud of you for standing up and doing whats right :-) ... Boycotting nvidia. I think that in time nvidia will see the light when they are losing millions of dollars for being bold face shady scum bag corporate douche bags !
  3. You have an FX CPU and that why your performance in CFX was junk.
  4. Why should he be forced to ... he paid for a top tier product and he did not receive it period.
  5. I am not a fanboy of anything but performance for money. I bash on AMD FX all the time LOL.
  6. Na it's hardly faster and still more expensive than a 280 and it's a brand new card. It's a piety with a crippled memory bus just like when the derped it up with the 660ti.
  7. Not really a matter of opinion. nvidia lied point blank period. Weather you are willing to turn a blind eye to this fact is a matter of opinion LOL.
  8. Na it's priced to high. It should be $150 and called the 950ti .
  9. This is huge news in the PC hardware realm.
  10. I boycotted nvidia. Newegg and NCIX etc can buy up all the crap they want but that does not mean I have to pay for it LOL.
  11. It's just a poll to see how many people are pissed off and would be willing to boycott nvidia.
  12. I would call out AMD if they did some BS faster than flys on shit. If you did not notice I bash on the AMD FX CPUs all the time cause they have shitty value for money for gaming and low IPC and per core performance.
  13. Oh no man. The Vram is crap and nvidia lied.
  14. No it used to a long time ago fix stuttering when adding in a third card. With the omega drive AMD has better muti card scaling than nvidia.
  15. Three way SLI/CFX is typically the best solution in most situations when extreme performance is desired. If you can find a 290 on the cheap it's a good performance gain most of the time if you are ok with the third card not always scaling great in every game.
  16. That's cause the 660 is not powerful enough to even warrant a 2GB frame buffer.
  17. I absolutely loved Fallout 3 and NV. I was never into the original Fallout games though. Can't wait for Fallout 4.
  18. I think is was just the ACX 2.0 with the issue. Makes you think why the hell they took a step back with the newer iteration.
  19. What's your opinion ... worth a buy or not ?
  20. No it was the ACX 2.0 that had the heat pipe issue. Op the ACX 980 did not have the same heat pipe issue as the ACX 2.0 970 did. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2014/09/19/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-review/3
  21. If you can run games like Crysis 3 @ over 60fps all the time then it's good. I don't thin a 270X can run that game at your resolution with 60fps all the time so it's not overkill. Nothing is really overkill unless you are running 4 980s but that's just a waste of money.
  22. To be honest we will see about freesink when guys like Ryan Shrout @ PCper do a full review when they get a freesink monitor in which should be very soon. Only then will we know for sure if nvidia is selling BS. I think nvidia deserves all the bad press for selling a Vram hobbled card and not saying anything about it at launch. nvidia could have marketed it straight up and they could have avoided all the bad press.
  23. What proof that nvidia did not lie to us about the 970s Vram ? Or about how G stink/Adaptive sink is a free technology that comes with all DP 1.2 monitors sold.
