Bought a mid-2012 logic board for my early 2011 MacBook Pro 15. yay for Mojave support, +15% CPU performance, +46% discrete GPU performance, +USB3, +80% iGPU performance, and still MacOS with a decent keyboard!

cost me $305, but I can sell my logic board for roughly the same amount, so it could potentially cost me nothing. ?

And it’s fully compatible with the screen, digitizer, trackpad, keyboard, and the USB port electrically support USB 3.0 specs?

yep. everything else is the same. literally plug and play.

All the ports minus magsafe power is directly on the board, so in that sense it's just making sure the case lines up, and I've verified that it does. it's actually not unheard of to do this swap.

yea sandy bridge to ivy bridge is a massive jump in terms of iGPU performance.
