  1. My bad if someone had already posted this, I just got an email about it and I thought the LTT crowd would have a solution to revive all the money lost on this thing. I bought the LTE version with all the accessaries, 2 controllers, and the cover. to get one month or so of use and then have it collect dust after contacting nvidia, because they wouldnt help either way.
  2. It's not news, its the problem. I know there's some way to use a pc to control an android device? It needs to be updated to the latest version, then nvidia downloads some app to determine for sure, so without the newest operating system they will not accept the claim. but everything else with my device meets the specifications.
  3. I preordered the LTE version of this tablet, and boy I loved it. After having it for about a month I hear a loud scream downstairs from my daughter. While rushing to see who could be murdering my family, the shields cover somehow disconnects from the tablet and it drops to the bottom of the stairs. It cracked the corner of the screen. I contacted nvidia on seeing if they could send me a replacement part or if it could be sent in to service. The optimistic representative seemed as if they were going to be a lot of help. He told me to call back tomorrow, so I did but they said "they regret to inform me.... blah blah blah" Well now my tablet is up for recall and it always did get hot as a mother, but there's no input received through touch. Tried my shield controller but its been connected to the portable since then. NO TOUCH INPUT/NEED TO UPDATE SYSTEM/SUBMIT CLAIM - Any ideas? Oh my 3 year old daughter was fine, just screaming for no reason
  4. nope, nothing kicked on, i have 2 res, the other is veritical feeding the pump/res combo, when i switched it on, nothing. no whirling or crazy noises from a dry pump. the bottom res was completely full so worries on that end.
  5. there is a connector for the mobo but that is for monitoring. They are the original connectors, you need pull the pins out to feed it through the small holes, then reassemble.
  6. I was doing a system rebuild and installed a bitspower pump mod to my XSPC Photon 270 pump/res last month. Well this week I decided to finish and start bending pipes. I got some water in the res and the pump connected to a separate power supply, psu ran fine. But the pump just wouldnt kick on. I tried switching the position on the wired in the connector as well. Anyone got any ideas, or have run into similar problem?
  7. he's right, full blocks for those cards are 100 a piece, plus another 80 at least for the cpu, and you havent even bought a pump, res, and fittings.. ohhh the fittings
  8. its not that hard to bend acrylic and it looks beautiful, i was asking the same question here, 6 months ago, and someone pointed me to singularitycomputers on youtube, and fell in love. You should check it out.
  9. I love the physical design. Beautiful!
  10. My wife is jealous of my gorgeous m8, granted she did get my nexus 5, but she's tired of my sloppy seconds (previously using my N4). Can you level the playing field for her Linus? The phone is absolutely beautiful, never had she noticed build quality in any fashion.
  11. I have a couple of all in ones laying around from a previous build and micro center has a few g10 brackets for sale, has anyone seen or heard of anyone using them on a 680 FTW? i have an itch to tinker with some components. thanks
  12. To be honest everything I've been reading and watching recommends to stay away from it and where I'm not loaded with cash I don't really like the idea of my components clogging up. I'm just trying to make the most informed decision I can, so I appreciate your time. Straight runs look so much cleaner and that's what I will be going for anyways. Thanks!
  13. I was leaning towards acrylic as well. Being as I would only have the CPU to take care of initially I thought that would be a plus in order to get comfortable with bending it. Have you ever had any problems with cracks? I was looking at white tubing. Any recommendations on fluid? And has build up from dyes or staining ever been an issue with your acrylic set up? (if you're using clear). Or any word of wisdom aside from what the regular youtube video provides. The only other component I may cool is the memory, if I can cough up the money for those Koolance blocks. Just for aesthetics of course.
  14. Out of plain curiosity I wanted to see what the LTT crowd preferred when it came to custom liquid cooling. Let me know what you use, why you use it, or what you would like to use if you were able to. I'm trying to decide on fittings at the moment. I have a 270mm reservoir/D5 pump combo and only am planning to cool the CPU at first. I have 680 SLI non-reference FTW, so I am not going to invest in the EK waterblock (only one available) because I plan to upgrade in the near future. Feel free to throw in any thoughts on products relevant to the subject also. Ordering parts for a my first loop, so provide any other tips you feel necessary. I'm building a custom enclosure for my computer out of an old bureau that I plan to refinish, so space is not really a problem. Thanks! I look forward to your replies! PS - I was thinking of grabbing primochill's wet bench, anyone have one? or a caselabs tech station and mount the board and components that way, leaning towards the primochill though.
  15. do you know a good medium for selling hardware online? The 3GB of ram worry me, I have a 1440 and was thinking about getting 2 more. I dont know what the hell i want to do.
  16. I'm kind of in a pickle. I have about 1200 dollars to implement some new components for my system. I'm pushing towards installing a custom loop. When I first built my system in February, I was just beginning my interest in computer hardware, and if I could build all over again I would make more wise decisions regarding certain components. I want to cool my CPU, GPU's, and maybe RAM (if I can get the heat spreaders off)... The problem is I have 2 GTX 680 4gb FTW and I have only been able to find 1 full cover block, it's by EK. I've read lots of complaints regarding this companies products regarding nickle Now I feel to invest 200+ dollars on waterblocks for a card that isn't overclock friendly like DirectCU II is a tough decision, seeing as were not talking about a 780 here, the card will soon be replaced and I'll have 2 worthless blocks of nickle. Do I sell the 680s and get one 780ti and water cool that? With plans to buy another later? I have to money to build a premium loop now, but wont down the road so I want to set myself in the right direction, any thoughts? If you want to through out any of your preferred products for me to check out, I'm trying to piece it together by the end of the week. I have up to 1200 dollars to spend for cooling and adjustments. Thanks ....also I have a HX850, will I need a new PSU?
  17. Thank you, the transfer speeds with my voyager air when connected as a NAS have been driving me crazy

    Yeah yeah... Sure
  19. Yeah, they've been yanking us long enough with price and the BS!
  20. No wonder apple is the the most successful company in the world, Steve jobs said, " we will distribute the most popular cell phone in the world and you can monitor it all, but it will cost you", he said to the five eyes.
  21. Not surprising, what is surprising is that 550 people are able to brush through the 600 million gigabytes a month.
