  1. Can someone recommend velour pads that are comfortable that would fit the 380 Pros? Nothing that would break the bank though...
  2. Wow... that is a really fucking beautiful work of art. http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/Bang-Olufsen-BeoSound-9000-MKII-CD-player-/191607336470?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c9cafee16 This should have some relevance to yours. Its selling for USD$1599. Edit: Found yet another one http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINT-Bang-Olufsen-Beosound-9000-MK3-CD-Player-/191584041174 This product seems to have a lot of variations..
  3. So... yes or no to M50x? Should I be getting something else that is better?
  4. Well, everyone has different preferences. I've been looking around and I think that I would get the M40x. Its like half the price of the M50x in Singapore and I don't need to wait 3 weeks for it.
  5. I had the Senns hd 558... i don't think they would give the wrong impression... I broke mine and sennheiser wouldn't get it replaced or RMA so I have to get new ones. The openness of the 558 was quite irritating especially if someone like my brother watches video or anyone is talking, I can hear them clearly. I should have thought it through but now that I have experienced it I think that I want closed headphones. The 558s were very bulky and I want something that is over ear but not overly huge. I bring then out occasionally but I usually plug my headphones into my ipad to watch videos, phone/computer to listen to music. Its not something I would use 24/7 because I mainly use my Creative T40 speakers which are great but I needed something to use when people are around me and I want to listen to music alone without interference.
  6. Just listening at home... i like to use my earpods on the go... not something i would want to change in the near future
  7. Are they comfortable though... and whats the difference between the M40x and the M50x, because one is SGD$128 and the other is SGD$228 respectively.. its so much cheaper
  8. I just don't get it with this headphone...it looks normal... what makes it so special?
  9. My budget is USD$150 plus or minus. Closed cans would be nice for a change... previous ones were open and I didn't really liked it. I listen to a range of music but nothing that needs a lot of bass. Surprise me.
  10. Ok, I've narrowed it down to 2 headphones. The V-mode Crossfade LP2 and Sennheiser Momentum. Which would be better? I'm not going to take it out much but the Senns hd 380 are quite ugly and big and plasticky while @t0wer pointed out that the shure SHR440 are pretty flat.
  11. Is the 32 ohm version good too? They seem to be cheaper on Amazon.
  12. I've had sennheiser hd 558 for about a year and I broke it... So I guess I need new headphones now... I'm looking for something at most USD$200 with shipping from Amazon... I live in Singapore so the shipping would be estimated 35-50+ dollars. For some reference, I love the sound of the HD 558s but I think a little more bass would be good... i listen to electro pop and electronic music... But not dupstep. Look up Delirious by Sussane Sundfor or Running to the sea by a Norwegian group I can't remember... For the comfort... I felt that the HD558s were a little uncomfortable...may ear would reach the insides of the earcup and the material on the earpads were itchy on my skin... Thats pretty much it actually... So basically find me a nice pair of preferably open headphones that can be used with a pc and iPad and maybe phone that does not need an amp. I also want it to look minimalistic and not flashy...
  13. The game that really marketed PhysX was Borderlands 2 and it was really minor... I almost wanted to get a GTX 660 at that time because of PhysX but I found out that most games don't give a shit about it so I gave it a pass..
