Well it seems we have had yet another quiet day here, there isn't any massive changes to be seen but we will see how this goes. We do have one thing to celebrate, we have an incredible achievement to see here, our first two billion points of the event, only once before have we seen this. He took the throne with 2.3 billion points in 2020, the first and only time we have seen someone break the two billion barrier before today. We will have to see where we end up at the end but I feel a new record
I've gotta say guys you are not making this interesting at all. Have you all decided you are comfortable or something?
miker07 is once again sitting on the frozen throne with 1,923,024,282 points, but it has to be said his place of wielding Frostmourne is not cemented and we could see an upset from Shlouski. He takes the number two rank with 1,847,380,642 point, meaning everything is still in play for the fallen king. If he can find the power and best Miker he could be the one to be
I'm not going to lie to you all, today I have been writing for most of the day, so I am not quite as energetic as I usually am. But I will try my best to get a post out even if it's less than interesting in the ranks.
miker07 is once again sitting on the throne, the new king, in all his 1,674,281,752 point glory is a beauty to behold. We have the fallen king, Shlouski up next, taking the number two spot and seeming like he has no intention or capability to retake the throne. He has
Well ladies and gents trying my hand at this… @GOTSpectrum is asking me(Cbigfoot) to write todays blog post so he can get some grub. Looks like we hit a new production High of 1,107,293,381 for the day. Can we hit 1.5 billion in one day before the end of the event? Stay tuned to find out.
There appears to have been a slight disturbance in the force in the top 10 today. But let’s start at the top in 1st miker07 has apparently enabled plaidmode on his engines and has Racked up 125milli
Well it seems the king has fallen, Long live the king! There is a secret recording of @miker07 as he stormed the castle! Recording
For the first time, on this day, the 15th day of the event, we lost a king, but do not fear, as one king falls another must rise. miker07 takes the throne for his first day during this event and it seems he could very well make himself comfortable. He takes the frozen throne with 1,431,155,705 points. Shlouski, the fallen king, has been dethroned and must not
Another day, another slaughter by Miker in regards to production. He has once again out-produced everyone else in the event. There have been very few major changes this update so lets get to it. P.S. if you are not currently folding, or are accidentally folding for another team, this is your last call to start. Check those machines!
Shlouski has managed to keep hold of the throne with the skin of his teeth, three million points may seem a lot to all of us, but when you are producing
Miker07 is pulling out all the stops here to secure himself a throne all of his own, only time will tell if he can keep it up. Alex Atkin UK is really working here with his new hardware.
Shlouski is once again the person we are seeing on the throne, but it has to be said, he is not looking very secure in that place right about now, we know he is pretty much tapped out around the 100m per day mark, he takes the rank with 1,222,248,239 points. miker07 is really showing us what he can d
Well we did it guys, the stars aligned, Alex got underway with the reinforcements and we have had a whole lotta luck with good WUs. All in all, well done ladles and gentle spoons, for passing the 1 billion day mark by almost 90m points.
Shlouski is sitting on the throne with 1,121,976,147 points, but maybe not for much longer, it seems his time at the top is coming to an end, Miker07 has finally shown us what he is capable of, I'm sure we all believed he had it in him, but it's a sh
The man, the only man to see a 100m point day so far during this event is all grown up, taking his first billion points on the 11th day of the event. Truly incredible, I remember when one billion in one event would be something impossible. But now, here we are seeing it in less than two weeks. Part of me can't wait to see what kind of power we will have in five more years.
Shlouski is the man, the man to beat, and it seems like there is no one among us who can beat him. Although I h
Well well, ladles and gentlespoon, it seems Miker has dropped off a wee bit. But overall we are still see impressive numbers, I think it is fair to say we won't be getting any billion point days during this event.
Shlouski is once again sitting on that throne, he's been there so long by this point I think he and the throne are becoming one, anyway, we say a solid day making above 96 million points. He takes the rank today with 928,933,876 points. I guess we will be seeing our first
Well well, isn't it about time we saw a true 100m day from Shlouski, That is the headliner for this update, it's certainly not the highest production we have ever seen during a folding event but is still mightily impressive. I have been watching the stats closely today as something piqued my interest, I really thought Miker was going to hit the century production mark on the same day. But alas, we may have to wait to see him ascend to such heights.
Shlouski is the true king today, g
Last year the title for day eight was 'Storm Igor' Rages On... It seems a title that is not appropriate for this years first day of the second week.
It has to be said that it is looking like our 'soon to be king' is just about fully tapped out, struggling to get that 100m day he is so looking forward to. He would only need another 4.5m, but that isn't all that small when you are already giving it your all. He sits on the throne today with 731,659,045 points. miker07 is up next sitt
This is gonna be a real quick one.
No changes other than one rank changes can be seen on th rankings today until you start looking below rank 30. Anyway let's have a rapid look over the top ranks.
Shlouski is still on top sitting on the throne with 636,119,656 points, but it has to be said his 100m point day is still elusive for him. Up next we have miker07 with 596,050,047 points. Igor_Sinelnikov had a sorry day today but he remains in the number three spot with 427,45
Well another day we didn't get to our target, but we are once again getting close to that one billion points. Keep pushing, give 'er all you've got.
Well, we have not seen a single change in the top ten this update. Shlouski is once again sitting on the throne with 540,674,413 points. Have to say it is pretty close up in the top with only a 12 or so hour outage in front of miker07 who is once again in second place with 503,835,788 points. Igor_Sinelnikov has put in another incredibl
Well guys, I have to say, you suck, we are further away from our one billion day goal than we were yesterday! But hey, I guess that means tomorrow is just another day to try. We have not seen any changes in the top ten so don't hold your breath. But nonetheless, let's dive in.
Shlouski keep himself in the number one spot today despite his power outage, taking the throne with 448,246,714 points, he did manage to outperform the next down the list but it was certainly close and he ca
Usually I try to limit my direct interference in the event, instead I usually like to ask open ended questions. But today I come to you all with a humble request. We are so close to see a billion point event day here that I just need to ask, can you push it some more, even if it's just for one day. Let's cross that billion point threshold together, united as a team.
For the firth day in a row we can see that Shlouski is sitting on that throne, he is really giving it one, despite thi
Usually on day three I announce that we have hit half a billion or one whole billion points. Well for this event I can proudly tell you all that we are just a little shy of two and one half billion points. It is in this that you can see just how far we have come as a team, and how far our technology has come.
And for the third day in a row we are seeing Shlouski sitting on the throne with 263,705,429 points, it is incredible to see just how far this lovely fellow brit can go pumping
So first thing first, Igor did not truly jump 130 ranks, there was a data issue on the last rankings, but this does not affect the integrity of the data, the issue was with the user entered data that was corrected yesterday after the posting of the ranks and blog post.
Sitting on the throne for a second day in a row we have Shlouski, with 167,910,201 points on the second day of the event it can be easily said that he is the man to catch. Producing slightly shy of 100 million points
Once again we get to enjoy the daily rankings of a folding month.
Ladles and Gentlespoons, here on the team many of us look forward to this event, year after year we come together as a team, to join together, to fold together, to compete together, but in the end the only true winner is science.
It is always a great pleasure for me to write the first blog post, the first of many to come over the next five weeks. It is always interesting to see who has already leap out of
So here we are, yet again another year has passed up by and we are once again cranking the dials to 11.
I know for many of you this year will be painful, we are seeing a global energy crisis of the likes many of us have never seen before.
Some of you, this will be the first time in which you have joined us, and for a very select few this will be your chance to get the event veteran badge.
For those few of you out there who join me in the elite club of joining every single
Well here we are, once again we have found ourselves staring into the abyss, trying our best to scrounge up hardware from down the sofa cushions to put to work!
I would not have even remotely imagined that five years ago we would be here, a top 3 team with regular events, seeing prize pools like we have for this event but here we are. It is incredible to see you guys come back year after year, to push forward the team, to come together and compete.
I'm not going to lie
There's an Olde English saying out there that goes something like this: He who buyeth a laptop just because it looketh cool shall risk developing cancer. OK, maybe I made that up. Still, I feel like this is one of the most interesting design flaws to ever come out of the tech industry, and one that deserves to be far better known because of just how pathetic it is.
When Dell launched the original XPS 12 in 2012, it was marketed as a "MacBook Air and iPad melded into one device," despite
Not to take a piss on python , i actually like the languagee , especially the development speed you get with it.
but...
only in python are things that are an order of magnitude faster in other languages actually much much slower:
