Last year the title for day eight was  'Storm Igor' Rages On... It seems a title that is not appropriate for this years first day of the second week. 

It has to be said that it is looking like our 'soon to be king' is just about fully tapped out, struggling to get that 100m day he is so looking forward to. He would only need another 4.5m, but that isn't all that small when you are already giving it your all. He sits on the throne today with 731,659,045 points. miker07 is up next sitting in second place with 690,752,758 points. We has seen a great day for Mr. Miker, getting close to the production rate of the guy above. But if he is wanting to make a move he is going to have to do better than this. Igor_Sinelnikov is once again in third place, but it seems like the man is all out of steam. None-the-less he still takes the third position with 459,985,399 points and is likely to be on the upper end of the table by the close of the event even if he can't quite match his peak. Justaphf is giving us a good showing so far 363,652,118 points, but it has to be said with Mxy dropping points like its hot we will have to see if he can do anything about that or simply be leapfrogged. With a showing like we have seen from Mxyzptlk we could be looking at someone in the top three if they can maintain that production rate. But only time will tell on that one, Mxyzptlk takes the number five spot with 340,219,201 points. 

Gorgon is the first on on the second group her with 315,016,695 points, be is carving himself out a little spot here, a island of safety, with each gain keeping safe margins either side of him. We have seen the sheer rate of production the man can do when he tries, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts if challenged. Oromit is the one to take the number 7 spot, it is crazy to see number seven in the list already a quarter of the way to one billion points for the event. He takes the spot wit 255,110,595 points. LAR_Systems has some time in his spot yet, he is gaining on the person above, but the person behind is gaining on him, it will be interesting to see what happens in the coming days and weeks with these three. He takes te rank with 239,690,327 points. _Rlocke is up next, gaining at a decent pace to the database man ahead he may even take a rank further ahead if all things remain as they are. He takes the spot with 227,191,861 points. For yet another day we have Ben_F taking up the rank of the honourable gate-keeper. He seems to like being a man of honour, the rearguard. He takes the rank with 192,736,621 points. 

OhBoy is once again giving us an amazing showing in the event. Gaining 7 ranks to find himself in 26th overall, he has shown us just what he can do and I think it is likely that he will be pushing up the ranks for some time to come. has folded for a second day and is looking to have found their stride! Taking 109th in the rankings and likely to climb much higher. As you can see the higher ranks may be stable for now, we can expect some changes to pop up in the days and weeks.
