  1. unfortunately i don't think telstra ever got the G series at all.
  2. I love how the z2 is waterproof, being in cairns australia with massive amounts of humidity could drown a phone in your pocket!!!! And as for Dbrand for making a skin on a phone that looks like its a part of the phone rather then a skin! VERY IMPRESSIVE!
  3. in australia its tax season so ill be picking mine up after my return.
  4. Thanks brownninja, i've seen the clip with the msata and thats when i decided on an mSATA laptop. Ive seen some of the older dell machines, in fact, my girlfriend used to have one. however, it was terrible. As for the ram, I'm not overly concerned as i would get the i7, 8gb version and upgrade the SSD myself pretty much day one after verifying that its all operational. Thanks AllTernative, I'm planning on getting the same version as you, pretty much all the negatives you've pointed out are just fine by me, i won't be doing anything overly CPU intensive and i won't be playing games on it (got the desktop for that), (maybe FTL if I'm bored or on a long flight ). The biggest concern to me when i was shopping was lots of fast and safe storage. like i said above i need a lot of storage in these laptops because i use them for my work and my 500 is already full yet i still want an ultra book so I'm willing to pay for the SSD. I think with that I've pretty much just finished selling myself on it. Thank you.
  5. i want the functionality of the gear 2, but with a charging design thats 100x better. i think pebble has the charger down for it, or even the Qualcomm toq.
  6. Hey LTT, Im in the market for a new laptop and I've seen that linus has a dell XPS 12, This has already popped up on my radar with its quite good reviews and being a well regarded convertible. One thing I'm really looking forward to is being able to swap out the mSATA SSD. Im a real storage beast on my laptops since i use them for work and I've already filled up the 500gb SSD in my current laptop. Im thinking of putting a 1TB samsung mSATA in it. Basically, all I'm wondering is, is there any feedback from actual long term users?
  7. its gotta be the fact that it still has an ethernet port. its becoming far to rare on notebooks.
  8. I work in a phone shop but i can't afford the HTC so I would love to have this in my pocket I love the metal casing. it just feels so... so... soooooooooo awesome
  9. I managed to get back in... thank god for continuing to use gmail account... only keep using it since its my name with no additional numbers or character or junk

I cannot wait to see this further along, this build looks so epic and awesome. great work man.
  11. Im in the market for a new set of headphones, I'm getting really sick of the apple earbuds. My only problem is ill be using them everyday of the week when I'm going to and from uni and to and from work. So yes, they will get quite a workout. I'm not sure what to get, i like the idea of good foldable headphones but i also like to have full ear coverage (i'm not a big fan of ones that just sit on your ears with little drivers). Being in Brisbane, Australia as well, ideally i would love the mesh style (like the logitech g430's) but thats a stretch and I'm happy to pass on it. I also like lower profile ones that don't stick out as much. i know I'm asking for a lot but any suggestions will help my search, there isn't really a budget, but nothing to extravagant, i am still a student after all I've noticed the Bitfenix Flo's because they look comfy but they don't fold (but for $80 bucks, c'mon, found at PCCG: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_998&products_id=27070&zenid=72a613197c3fa5670531f1c74916004e) Thanks LTT.
  12. Hey LTT, first I'm sorry if this is against the rules, hence the off-topic section Im from cairns and I've just moved to brisbane, my PC atm is being looked after by my parents up north. However i won't be able to use it at all for the next year so i figured i should sell it. The specs are: Case: Cubitek Mini Cube case Mobo: Asus Z87 M-itx pro MoBo Ram: 16gb 1866mhz g.skill ares ram CPU: intel 4770k (stock intel cooler since the noctua one i used ended up being a bust) PSU: silverstone 550watt gold psi using short cable kit and of course, GPU: Galaxy GTX Titan 6gb Storage: 2 x 500gb samsung 840 SSD's in raid 0 cooling is handled by a noctua NF-F12 PWM fan and a noctua NF-B9 92mm fan. i figured i could post this on gumtree or something like that but i figured half the people on it wouldn't know what i was talking about with this stuff. so i figured i should try this first since i know theres a few people from cairns here on LTT. or if you know anyone who is interested. I've just started studying again. please contact me via LTT then ill give you my number if we want to talk more.
  13. I really want a keypad, and the Razer orb weaver seems to be the only one. Is there any other ones out there? ~~Regards
  14. Get a set of Logitech G430's. They use a USB sound adapter for their 7.1 with only two drivers. the 7.1 is handled digitally . and they are really really good.
