Hi guys, I have an issue what is driving me nuts. Ever since I did upgrade to Windows 11, my sound is sh*te and it is crackling. It does not matter if I listen to spotify, watch a Youtube video, etc. the sound makes a popping sound ever so often. I did try to completely uninstall and reinstall my Realtek HD Audio drivers, tried to downgrade it - no dice. I did try an external USB soundcard from my former Creative headphones (Tactics 3D Alpha) and it was crackling the same. The only way my audio plays without crackling is through my AirPods. Did anyone else have an issue like this? Thanks

Hi guys! I received an old IBM ThinkPad T40 without the charger. (It uses a 16V and 4.5A charger) I don't have a charger with these specs, but the one from my Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 fits in the charging port but it's a 19.5V and 6.15A charger. So my questions are the following: Can I try my charger from the Y570 and if so then will it kill my charger or the laptop? Thanks for the answer! EDIT: NVM, stupid question. It wont work because it needs to be the same voltage

That card is dead. I had once a similar thing with an ATI HD4670. It blew the S-video port with the cable out but after that I tested it with the DVI port and the card worked

I have Windows 8.1 and I turned the hybrid shutdown off because sometimes it messed up my lappy during the shutdown and I had to do it manually. My laptop with a 5400RPM HDD starts up around 20-30 seconds without the fast boot option which is fine for me.

^This. You can't put an OS from one PC to another (where the HW is different), because it won't work. You need to fresh install it + sometimes if you have 2 drives connected during a windows installation, the boot sector isn't on the same disk as the OS itself.

Hi guys! Does anyone here own the Bloody V7 with metal feet? I really like the look of the mouse and the black + red combination is also great. I won't buy the core 3 BS because I don't need any assist. It is decent in games? + what mousepad do you recommend for it?

I've found your channel back in 2009 because of some motherboard or CPU unboxing I think, and I really liked your content so I subscribed and boy I didn't regret it. The LinusTechTips (LMG now) was the best tech channel on youtube and you've never disappointed me. I miss the outside unboxings though but the videos which you guys are making every day are the highest quality ones on YT. If I buy something which is PC related I'm always checking the LMG videos to catch a review about it because I can trust you. I'm glad you hit 1m subs and congrats for the whole team!

Yep, the machine gets a real IP address and it recognizes the subnet mask and everything seems fine if I check it from the cmd with ipconfig, it just doesn't receive packets... it's very strange + I didn't installed any AV or FW yet so that isn't the cause either.
