Microsoft word issue

Hi guys.

 

Trying to help someone out. They have a word 2013 document open and can see everything. They also have a word 2003 ocument open. For some reason, when they try to copy the text from 2013 doc to the 2003, it pastes something hat they had copied earlier..

Any ideas while this is happening??

UPDATE: they were able to copy the text from an email, but still fails when copying from word 2013

Paste as text, will kill off formatting but it's usually the best way to avoid issues.

You can also force this the long way by copy paste copy into notepad.
