How many FPS?

So, now that I'm nearing the budget target for my build, I have a question about the performance that I'll be getting. How well do DCU2 780's work at 5760x1080? I currently have a BenQ XL2420T but I am able to get 2 more off of some friends for £100 each. Should I just stick with 120Hz on a single monitor or 60Hz with triple monitors?

if you play a lot of fps games teh 120hz will be better for you but for other style games i prefer to have better graphics/emmersion that higher fps.

2 780's with today's games aren't going to have any issues at 5760x1080. I can still play everything at 5760x1080 with 2x 6970's (Having to turn things down now though)

You should be able to hit 60fps for most games. Edit: (@ max settings)

120fps might be out of reach @ max settings with newer games.

dw, I'm aware that I wont be able to hit 120Hz but after watercooling both of them, I hope to at least reach 90 on max settings.

Very well I think. I ran a ghetto 5760x1080 with my single 780 and I was getting smooth gameplay on BF3 maxed. I was about 40-50ish I think (it was a while ago). I like my single 120hz for FPS games and having 3 monitors was cool but I didn't use them in an FPS but on a single-player like Bioshock or skyrim I did like it for having 3 monitors.

Wow I think you're underestimating those cards. I'm sure you'll hit 120 on a LOT of games. Maybe just not the graphics rapez ones. e.g. Crysis 3, farcry 3, metro LL... etc

to put this in perspective 2x 7970Ghz can almost hit 200fps in BF3

Did not know that they had that much potential. For reference, I currently have an Intel Celeron M @1.73, 1Gb of ram and intergrated graphics. I cannot wait for this to be completed :D
