So my mum and dad are switching to sky and it is the worst as i had it in my old house,apparently its the routers that they use so is this true? or is it just that sky is complet and crap can some of the uk veiwers or user of this website help me as i dont want to have to play csgo tournements with 100 ping or downloading gta 5 at 2mb an hour

Sky piggy backs of BT as far as I'm aware, BT has been fine in my area and when I had sky (5+ years ago) it was just fine, the router sucked but again that was 5+ years ago.

 

Everyone says their ISP suck for one reason or another, it doesn't really sound as if you;re going to sway your parents though so you might just have to deal with it  <_<

They have been Meh for me. I didn't get my promised speed when i went to fiber. All go sorted in a month. The router is fine. 50 out even through a brick wall.

it is ment to be 8mbp to 11mbp
