Hey Joseph Nasif,

How long did you wait for the copy/paste procedure? How many and how big were the files? How fast was the transfer speed? What are your drives (both portable and internal)? What connection are you using?

I'd say check both drives' S.M.A.R.T. statuses with a diagnostic tool provided by the manufacturers of the drives and see if they are functioning properly. For WD drives that would be WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=rQW98K

Post back with the results. :)

When you download it and run it, the application will check the health of your disk and report back if the drive's health is good or not. Do make sure you choose the check option and not the "write zeros" option. Read carefully the manual and what the application prompts you to do. :)

Yes, this is the extended test that will check your drive for bad sectors. Do run this on both drives as well as the quick test and see if both of them pass it. If not, see what error message comes up. :)

Yes, it is normal for the extended test to take a long time. Do leave it until it's done, rung the quick test too. Do this on both drives and see if both of them pass both tests. :)

As the software indicates, Drive number 2 (which is your portable WD drive) has too many bad sectors and is prone to failure. I would suggest to back up all the data from the drive as soon as possible to another drive and consider replacing it. Bad sectors cannot be fixed or reduced and they will get more and more.
After backing up your data, you can try the "write zeros" function of the tool on the drive and see if this fixes these errors. If they are logical bad sectors rather than physical, they might get fixed. Do have in mind that this WILL DELETE EVERYTHING from the drive so make sure you move your data to another drive.
