Fan low noise adapter compatibility

vlado88

So I have some low noise adapters left from CM Jetflo fans.

The question is: can I use them on another fan and connect it directly to the PSU?

It should be fine as long as the voltage is high enough for the fan to start. You might have some issues with certain PWM fans.

What is a PWM fan? :D

I want to use it on CM Xtraflo fan (its the n200 case fan).

PWM fans have a 4 pin connector instead of a 3 pin. The CM Xtraflo are PWM fans so you might have issues but its worth a shot.
