Vim users

Any vim users here? I really need some advice. I'm currently studying to use vim, specially in windows, and I just want to ask some advice on what plugins to use. last night I installed pathogen and painstakingly search for the problem that I encountered and solve it now I want to know what to do to make it a little bit good looking to my eyes. Color scheme and useful plugins, like nerd tree I just heard it last night I didn't installed it yet. And I want to use vim for basic web development specially HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python. What can I do to vim so that it will do some syntax completion on those languages?

How familiar are you with the Vim basics? I'm not really too up

to date on plugins (haven't really had the time to set that up

properly), but just as a general recommendation I'd say it's a good

idea to get the basics down and make yourself a good .vimrc, that's

already very valuable.

And for some general Vim-knowledge: http://www.vimcasts.org

As for plugins, vim-fugitive is supposed to be pretty good, although

I don't use it personally. I do use par however (not so much a plugin

and more of an additional program), very awesome (it's for text

formatting, vimcasts also has a vid on that one).

Maybe look into UltiSnips or other snippet plugins?
