Galaxy note pro vs. galaxy note 10.1 2014

I am in the market for a tablet. I am in between the note pro and note 10.1 2014.  I am a high school student and I want to carry it around all day taking notes and writing down assignments.  At home, I want to watch videos, browse the web, and do some light gaming.  Is it worth the extra real estate on the screen for my needs, or should I go for the portability?
