Triple Monitor Stand w/o breaking the bank?

mark.mckeown

I've determined to add a 3rd monitor to my setup, nothing special, just 3 24" 1080p monitors 60hz, and am looking to clear up some desk space away from the quite large bases that these bad boys come with.

I've looked into some triple monitor stands, and would like something that I can be able to rotate the monitors nearly 90 degrees (not to portrait mode, but to swivel to be able to watch from my bed adjacent to my desk), without having to pay $300.

If my wording is confusing, here's a literal potato of what I'm looking for that I cooked up in paint in like 15 seconds:

If you're into DIY, there have been some pretty awesome looking stands that wouldn't break the bank

317 is watching. 317 is everywhere. 317 is life.

Arctic Cooling Z3 or Z3 Pro are quite cheap where I live atleast, compared to other stands.

while deep down I know this would be a lot of fun, and I would enjoy it a lot, I just plain don't have the resources or materials to be able to build my own monitor stand - at least not in my college apartment. Maybe if I were closer to home :(

you're asking for a machined, metal stand (that's also coated/painted for color) - with enough structural integrity to hold 3 whole monitors - WITH articulation

put that in perspective....and how you're asking for that under $300
