Audio problems with my new computer

Hello all, I'm new here so i hope this is in the right section anyways

 

I have recently finished building my custom computer, but i have found out that when using a headset with a mic there is a constant buzzing down the mic. Everyone that im talking to can hear it but i can't (unless im listening to the mic output)

 

I have tried the front and back audio ports with no success and i have also tried a usb headset and also a usb sound card with no success. I am tempted to order the Asus Xonar DGX sound card with the hope that its just an interferance issue.

 

If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated Thanks

What motherboard are you using, some have really bad onboard audio, also, maybe it is a problem with your mic?

I am using the MSI Z87-G43, The headphones I use work perfectly in my other computer its just this system that im having issues with.

have you checked if your audio cables from the motherboard to the mic input are all installed properly?

Yes I have checked that all of the cables are installed properly, i even removed my WIFI card to see if that was the cause of the interference but no success
