How do i know that my PSU is with no problems?

NirvanaN

Interestingly enough, the people who manage Corsair site sometimes put inaccurate information on their listing.

Check out the TX750M: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/enthusiast-series-modular-tx850m-80-plus-bronze-certified-750-watt-high-performance-modular-power-supply

Look at the URL, and you will see they put "TX850M"

Now look at a review at Jonnyguru (scroll down to the bottom chart) http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=254

Corsair states that there's only one EPS connector as well; however, JG sample got two - one hardwire and one modular.

Huh, that's really odd.

Yeah. There's actually two versions of the TX-M btw. Both of the ones that we have listed (as well as the one that JG tested) is v1. What I'm assuming is that they never bother correcting the TX-Mv1 information as it had been already discontinued and replaced by the v2. The v2 has the correct information in regards to it having two EPS connector. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/tx-series-modular-tx850m-80-plus-bronze-certified-850-watt-high-performance-modular-power-supply

Yeah on the PSU it show 8pin.

However the cable is a 8pin but with only 6 cables, that is why i only have 6+2

See image, there is no cables for the end on the blue connecter that connects to the PSU

I already had a r9 290 with this PSU with np, and i was running with the 6+2

It's possible that it was just the graphics card that was faulty. There shouldn't be an issue with 6+2, it was desinged that way and only adds two ground pins. How long had the 770 been running and did it suddenly die or did it show signs that it was failing?

I had the graphics since february, so 6 months.

Never had a single problem with the card. Just died last night while playing CS:GO

I even lock at 140FPS, the graphics was not even using turbo boost
