Black screen during BIOS but boots to Windows

I just updated my Gigabyte Z68XP-UR3R to the UEFI BIOS from the Traditional BIOS and now my screen doesn't come on until windows. I have tried Both my graphics card and onboard.

does ur mobo support uefi..?? i think it supports only hybrid efi...

On their website it says that this bios is uefi

Can you access the bios if you spam delete when you press the power button? If you can, it might be some sort of fast boot feature that skips the bios splash screen.

If your board is posting extremely fast and you got apparently fastboot enabled, it's normal. I had it today as well but my post is kinda slow but didnt see the rog loading at all or the welcome screen just immediately to the desktop after 2-3secs after the post.
