[Complete] Neptune 2.0: Reverse Polarity - NZXT Switch 810 Reverse ATX Dwood Pedestal Build

joejoe69

I was completely content with the former version of Neptune (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/43430-neptune-nzxt-switch-810-water-cooled-build/) but a Dwood pedestal had me putting the mod hat back on once again. This time, I jump off the cookie cutter trend of case configurations and reversed the case to build a one-off system that would never be mistaken as an LD or 900D ripoff. My plan worked as some could not identify what this behemoth of a case was as they stare into the acrylic tubes that flow seamlessly into its mid panel which resembles a pool Mayhems Pastel Blue Berry coolant.

Everything in this build, from the bent acrylic panels and tubing, down to every single paracord sleeved cable, was built in-house and not outsourced (except for my CF SLI cover, which was laser cut at work with the help of a good friend and fellow PC modder:p). I can happily say that I am now completely content to have finally completed the dream machine I have always wanted. I hope you guys enjoy watching it unfold as much as I enjoyed building it.

last thing i want to say other than  nice car was how come you didnt want to maybe put an itx build with that atx build as well?
you could have probably pulled it off to have dual system watercooled in the background but nm that is my idea once haswell e is officially out :D
Looks like a Cheaper model of the nine hundred d from Corsair

The blue and carbon fiber offset each other nicely  :)  I think any other color with that much carbon fiber would look cheesy but this is pr0n

I really like the panel covering the power supply. It is a great colour match to your coolant and has the effect as if the coolant is filled in the lower portion of your case. I would love to see someone make a res that covers the bottom of the case.

Thanks!!

what screens are that?

They're Dell S2340M 23" IPS LED Monitors.

Thanks. I already have plan for it but it will be in a future build. I would really love to see NZXT make an Ultra Tower similar to this that can compete with the 900D, which to me is not the perfect case as everyone thinks it is...
