I purchased a new Dell i7373 laptop and - in the process of setting it up - discovered that the computer is indicated as having issues when viewing the device manager.  When troubleshooting, it informs me that there is a problem with the driver for HID Sensor Collection V2.  Reinstalling the driver does not fix the issue.  I have obtained a new driver from Dell and installing this did not remedy the issue either.  I have also updated the BIOS and all chipset drivers to no avail.  Dell and Microsoft support tried to assist but have thrown in the towel, although Dell informs me that I can send them the machine for repair  Before doing that, I would just take the machine back as I have 30 days to return it.  That being said, I like the computer and got a very good price on it as a closeout of last years model so I wouldn't mind trying to fix the issue if at all possible.

If I simply can't fix the issue and decide to just keep the computer - accepting the fact that it is flawed out of the box, can anyone tell me what exactly may be effected by a non-functioning or malfunctioning HID Sensor Collection?  I understand that it controls the screen rotation, but what other issues may I run into?  There are four HID sensors listed in the device management list.

Thanks in advance for any insights or info!
