I have a Thunderbolt display from Apple, I recently built a pc. Is there a way for me to use my thunderbolt display with my pc without buying an expansion card?

Is it thunderbolt 2 or 3? TB2 is the same as mini-displayport, I assume you can get a displayport to mini-displayport adapter. Or probably a DP to USB-C/TB3 adapter.

Do you think this adapter would work for my pc to work with the thunderbolt display?

I agree I don't know why they stopped selling thunderbolt display, I wish they refreshed them with thinner bezels and USB c, that way I can also use them with my MacBook.

just a heads up - you will want to do some research but I am 90% sure those Apple Thunderbolt 2 displays will not work via DisplayPort. When you connect them to an actual Thunderbolt interface, part of that TB signal tells the screen to turn on, which it something that DisplayPort does not do.

We tested them at work a few years ago because all the Dell laptops had/have mini-DP outputs, but they would never turn the Apple displays on.
