Hello there!

My computer restarts after booting up certain games. From all the games I play it only happens during Rocket League (Steam) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (Windows Store).

In both games I can see the main menu for less than 5 seconds and then my pc just shutsdown and reboots automatically. No error, no bluescreen. Even after unticking the option to restart there is no bluescreen.

I ran several benchmarks and stresstests and the cpu and or gpu temp are both under 50 °C when it happens. Besides that, I can play Battlefield V with Ultra settings just fine, where my gpu and cpu have to work more and get warmer, so I

doubt I have a temp problem. The pc is new and clean. I also have the newest drivers installed. I never OCed my cpu or gpu.

Could the newest nvidia drivers be the culprit?

See if there are any power-hungry apps hiding in your PC by opening task manager, and get a fairly cheap watt adapter where you plug the PSU cord into the adapter, and then the adapter into the wall outlet and see how much wattage you consume,

Try reseating GPU and CPU, but I personally think it might be a defect part. Probably GPU or PSU.
