I have noticed a weird idle cycles on my laptop. It's running Windows 10 and I did a routine clean install back in February of this year. On the Performance Monitor, I've set a data collector of the CPU (red), RAM (green) and Disk usage (blue) for 1 hour. I did not use the computer during that period of time (automatic suspension/hibernation is disabled). The laptop was bought in 2014 and it has an AMD A6-6310 with 4GB DDR3 RAM.

From the picture is visible a steady average RAM usage by 32%, a 2 minute period of <0.5% CPU usage, followed by 5 minutes of 3-4% CPU usage and repeating.

I don't have any strange processes in the Task Manager so I have no idea what's going on. Unfortunately, I do not have another computer with Windows 10 to debug this issue. Can someone share their CPU usage plots?

It's likely just something running in the task scheduler which is normal.

There is nothing untoward about this graph, looks fairly normal

I'll check the schedule, but that's a lot of processing power (despite the bad CPU) that is not shown in the task manager
