Need help with nvme enclosure

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a nvme m.2 enclosure for my Kingston HyperX Predator 250 GB (https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07G38DGWK/ref=oh_aui_...)

I have installed the nvme in the drive with the screws provided and when I connect it to my laptop, the sound (when you plug in a usb) comes on, but nothing shows up on My PC or Disk Management. The lights on the enclosure light up, but the system just does not read the drive.

I thought that the drive may be faulty (since it was in storage for about 2 years), so I installed it in the nvme slot of my laptop and it reads well. 

I have tried to reseat the nvme and have tried to use different cables, to no avail. I would appreciate any help regarding this.
