Video Game Software Deployment Server

I wanted to make some sort of Software deployment server for my video games using Ubuntu. I am just not sure how to go about it is all.

I wanted the server to have my games fully installed and checking for updates daily, that way if an update comes out for one of them, I can just grab it from my server via my intranet or if I have to re-install a game, or install it on another PC, I can just grab it from the server.

Kinda like the steam caching server, but always checking for updates everyday so I don't have to.

I am also open to using a caching server if it checks updates for me on a regular basis as well.

Is it about stream games, or other ?

I was once trying to do something like this with steam games, and I fail. Very often steam was ignoring files with updates that I had, and was downloading them from steam server any way.

I was wanting to do this with Steam, Origin and Battle.net.

Really? I wonder why it was ignoring them.
