Unknown program uses 90% cpu

Jessentis

First off I'm not sure if this is the right forum category so I apologize about that.

So I recently noticed that I always have a program labeled 'jcenc.exe' running in task manager. It uses anywhere from 50% to 95% reaching each of those every 30 seconds or so. From what I remember I tried to delete it but it's still here. I've basically just been ignoring it since honestly I don't care a crazy amount about security. I usually put my computer to sleep when I'm not using it and so whenever I restart I just open task manager to close it. I recently noticed that on one of my devices I get sign in requests for one of my email accounts (an unimportant one that I just give away for spam email stuff) so I thought maybe it's related to this and maybe I should do something about it.

I decided to attach a screenshot of task manager before I closed it only to realized maybe I should have opened the file location of it to attach that too so maybe you could look into the code of it or something like that that i don't know about but after restarting my computer it wasn't running and after searching my entire C drive for it I couldn't find it. I will restart my computer a few more times once I've posted this and see what I find.

Oh wow, okay. I'll have a look at those websites now. I originally searched for jceNC not jceCN and it gave me some weird foreign websites so I gave up hope for Google. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=jcenc.exe&oq=jcenc&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j0j69i57j0l3.1366j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Yeah, those are foreign dating sites, don't ask me know I know :)

Honestly, I never cared much for security as well, but over the years I've come to embrace it.  The proliferation of access attacks for email, banking, game accounts, etc has prompted me to run at least one program on each of my devices.  Even those don't stop the website Windows scams for some reason.

Get that shit gone.

I just restarted my computer like 5 times and I don't see anything so maybe I just have to wait for it to come back. I've been doing dodgy things on computers for some time now (probably 6/7 years?) and I've never came across anything other than that stupid Google search bar that sticks to the top of your screen all the time but that was something that I forgot to un tick during a software setup. I'll definitely be cautious after having this happen to me but I typically buy things on amazon and steam by buying a voucher code thing in a store basically next to my house so I know for sure that none of my payment info is online and I think that that's all I should be worried about if I'm honest.
