20% GPU Usage on Overwatch

GPU usage is at 20% when I play OW at it's highest settings. I get around 100-130fps which would be ok but I have a 144hz monitor and I need above that. It seems it's not using my GPU to it's full potential.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 ti

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz

PSU: EVGA Cert Gold 750W Modular.

What resolution the in game setting at? and what resolution scaling set to?

Res in game is 1920x1080 @ 144hz and current render scale is 75% bc I get 200fps with it. But if I change it to anything higher the GPU usage stays the same and I lose lots of frames. I drop to like 100-120.

Have you tried set it to render scale 100%, fullscreen and restart the game. Then see how it works..

yep, frames drop to like 120

What software did you use to monitor usage? It's kinda odd.

or maybe it's just your Ryzen that gets in the way.

Was monitoring it through my task manager.

What detail level? Last build I did could do 120 FPS at max detail with Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 580 8GB, and I do know that Overwatch can be pretty CPU intensive.

I also feel like the performance delta between detail levels is unjustified past "high" because it looks the exact same.

What does your GPU usage show during that time though?

Possibly could be a Ryzen bottleneck, but it could also be other things.
