I found a fix for this you need to go to settings and go from mono audio to stereo audio

I installed YouTube on Nintendo switch but every time I try to watch in handheld mode it keeps on telling me that a playback error has occurred but when I dock it it works I tried reinstalling it and restarting the app and the Nintendo switch
