I have no clue where to post this.  In the OS section or hardware.  SInce this is a hardware related problem I posted it here.  I have formatted OS many times to no avail.  This problem started a while ago.  At random, especially on youtube, my screen goes black and light goes orange but the video is still playing in the background and I can hear it.  After 20 seconds or soo the PC reboots on its own.

Ive also tried a different video card, same problem.  BTW.  Games work and have never given me a single issue.  Also the random black screen can take days before it happens.  My OS is pretty fresh I don't need to install it again.  What can this be ?

Could this be a RAM problem ?  Or a motherboard problem ?  Or is it my bad to post in this section and it and should have posted in OS section.  Thanks all

Have you run stress tests with Aida64 yet? You can see what is potentially wrong with your CPU if that's the culprit.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Thanks fasauceome for the reply.  Yes I have run Aida stress test for 3 hours straight.  Ran fine.  Also FYI this happens even if the BIOS is at stock settings and no OC.  Also it has never happened while gaming.  It happens when pc is idle but rare, usuallly its youtube, the screen turns orange on monitor goes black I can hear the video playing in the background then after 10 or 15 seconds pc reboots,, sighs
