Headphone + Speaker 2.1 Setup

Hi,

 

I am looking into alternatives to my current setup. Its source is mainly a 24/7 on/standby gaming PC.

Other sources are optional.

 

One of the requirements is that i can easily switch between headphones and speakers.

 

Currently i found only one single setup that does not require to unplug the headphones.

 

Current setup:

1.) PC to Odac revb

2.) Odac to JDS element

a.) JDS Element to 598SE

b.) JDS Element to NAD 356 BEE

3.) NAD 356 BEE to KEF LS50 / Velodyne EQ10 (for my neighbors )

 

If i want to switch i can press one button on the JDS Element to switch off the headphone out and use the line out.

 

This setup has a few issues:

1.) Cant run NAD 356 BEE 24/7 on (AB amp) 

2.) JDS Element creates "sometimes" a noise when NAD 356 is connected.

3.) JDS Element build in DAC cant handle 24h+ being on - starts to creates noise (thats why i bypass the dac with the odac)
