LG Power Saving Mode Issue

Hi guys, I have an issue with my lg monitor. Whenever I plug try to connect it in through my hauppauge hd PVR gaming edition it goes into "Hdmi power saving mode". It's fine when I connect it straight to the pc with Hdmi and dvi but as soon as I try the hauppauge it goes into power saving mode.

Has anyone had this issue and/or knows how to fix it?

All advice will be appreciated thanks.
