Incorrect CPU usage readings? Windows 10

It's a known bug that in 1809 CPU usage is not displaying correctly.
Microsoft are aware of the bug and have said that will be releasing an update to address the issue. Check to see if there are any Windows Updates to be downloaded and see if that fixes the issue. I'm not sure if a fix has been released for it yet, so you will have to check for updates every few weeks to see if a fix has been released for it.

I've been having this problem ever since the latest windows update, I've tried looking it up on Google but I can't seem to find this exact problem.

 

So basically, the per process cpu usage numbers are way off the actual total cpu usage numbers which I found really odd. Even at 100% I have no idea what's happening. Has anyone faced the same issue? Would appreciate the help

Open Resource Monitor and go to the CPU tab and see what the CPU usage values are reporting there?

 

Is this on Windows 10 1809?

If i'm supposed to be looking at the CPU column it looks like it isn't reporting the right numbers either. :/

I just got back from a busy day but thank you for clearing things up! Much appreciated, I honestly hope I get the update soon :/
