Overclocking RAM?

Hello I just wanted to know how I can overclock my ram. I found this guide online LINK I also have the same ram as the one in the tutorial the g. skill ripjaw X 1333 MHZ. Is that tutorial good, is it correct to follow? Ive never overclocked ram so I wanted to know. Also if thats wrong can someone give me a link to another guide?. Also i have this motherboard LINK is it possible to overclock ram with it?

Editing. I use programs like Sony Vegas, After Effects, Photoshop. (And im not gonna go overboard with the ram though...)

You need to take into account RAM timings. Overclocking RAM can actually decrease performance if the timings are wrong/bad due to the latency they can cause.
