"Microsoft Photos" CPU and Memory Usage Problem

Hi guys..

Recently my PC CPU cooler is having frequent ramping up and down randomly even my PC is idling.

I investigated by open Taskmanager, found that "Microsoft Photos" is the suspect, its CPU usage is ramping out of control makes my CPU cooler reacted to it.. Sometimes, its CPU usage is 0% but memory usage is at 1300 Mb

I don't even open any photos or widget.

What could be possibly wrong?

How can I troubleshoot this?

what version of Windows 10 are you running?

OK the memory usage isn't matter so much but when it's having the CPU usage out of control is quite annoying even my PC is idling..

 

I run Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134). This problem occurred since this afternoon, nothing wrong before.

wait you are running an insider preview? in that case i can't help you. Windows insider preview is beta software. these kinds of bugs are to be expected.

I don't get it. What do you mean about "insider preview" how can you know it, I don't even know that I'm running it and what is "insider preview"?

I googled that build number and I got a lot of results for an insider preview... if you didn't enable it I don't think you are running insider previews... 

 

are you running Windows 10 1803 or 1809?

Is "Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134)" what you mean by "insider preview"?

 

I can't find which version my Windows is.. Could you help to find out?

I didn't ask you to update, considering 1809 has serious issues I'd recommend not to right now, and to update after these issues have been fixed. 

 

 

 

 

but on topic, I've never had this issue on 1803 so I can't really help you. 

 

also you might want to remove those screenshots because it contains stuff like your computer name..
