The system will be overclocked. Some of the parts are already purchased except GPU, CPU coolers, fans, accessories, and peripherals.

I will make it a good looking black system, so I will choose as many black components as possible.

- The cooler will be all black swapped NF-A15 fans for the Noctua NH-D15 and add NA-HC4 black heatsink cover. Yes, I don't choose BeQuiet! coolers because I like more how NH-D15 looks in black than Dark Rock series to achieve my goal as Deep Dark system without too much RGB.

- 2.5" HDD will be used instead of 3.5" one, to allow removing 3.5" HDD cage, to provide clear space for unobstructed airflow path on the lower part of the case, and I will let the mid reservoir mount stay on its place as room separator from the upper part of the case to make some kind of wind tunnel for the GPU fresh air supply path.

- Will make it up to work with 5x 140mm fans to cool the system.

- The airflow plan will be using 2x NF-A14 iPPC 3000 PWM fans (linked each other with splitter to single system fan header) in front to get as highest force as possible to pull as much fresh air as possible for the intake, because Evolv ITX front panel vents are tight. Exhaust will be using the stock included 140mm PH-F140SP case fan and link it together with 2x NF-A15 by 3 PWM fan splitter cable to the CPU fan header, because MSI Z370i Pro Carbon only has 2 fan headers. The stock case fan also act as the 3rd fan of the CPU cooler to pull heat from the rear end of the NH-D15 heatsink and blow it out of the case.

Need some idea for maybe some adjustments or better cooling plan..

I'm still unsure with the PSU, is there any better alternatives? Like fully modular or better value?

All fully modular:

EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold very good but slightly older design.

EVGA 120-GP-0650-X1 also quite good.

SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold, excellent choice with 10 year warranty.

Corsair RM650x (2018), another excellent choice.

SeaSonic SSR-650GD, an even better choice with 12 year warranty.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Sweet.. SeaSonic FOCUS is the best alternative from the list you showed me for this build.. Thanks!

Is 650W sufficient for this CPU+GPU to overclock?

More than enough.

I thought I have to pay more for a fully modular PSU.

I also think already choose the lowest price offers in all components but still can't get exactly at $2000, it's still slightly over budget..

Yes, I agree with your points before you mentioned them. But I have goals to achieve. Getting an elegant black dual tower cooler without to hide the dual heatsinks. Dark Rock series are indeed black, but they hide the dual heatsinks and looks too aggressive and mean for my preference. I need to look for other area to cut the cost but still have to be able to achieve my goal, a good dark looking and elegant strong performer system with $2000.

I might be getting NH-D15S and Corsair K63 wired instead to cut $30.

I can live with Noctua's iPPC fans, so I'll keep them..

Think for another to press the cost a bit more.

This is not "an elegant black dual tower cooler"?

ImageServer.php?ID=ed7cda15643@be-quiet.

It's really nice, strong but doesn't has elegant look, it looks too aggressive and mean instead of elegant. Cryorig R1 Ultimate still is the closer to my criteria than Dark Rock, but still too aggressive also..

This black NH-D15 looks slicker, neat, elegant yet looks strong but not being too aggressive.

But motherboard is already bought..

120mm fans I think aren't enough to feed a huge dual tower cooler with fresh air from tight front panel vents. Also I can't do 3.5" storage drive as I mentioned earlier above.

But I agree to cut the PSU, as @brob told me that 650W is more than enough. So which one again is the best cheaper fully modular PSU below 650W?

You guys are really helps me to optimize my build quality vs cost. I'm happy with your inputs. I still need to take your suggestions..

NF-A14 fans are rated at 41.3 dbA. That is quite loud.

That is when it reaches max rpm. The reason I choose NF-A14 iPPC 3000 is to be able to get higher fan speed than other fans on the market, lets say to get 2000rpm without pushing the fan to its maximum mechanichal load of its motor, so I can get higher airflow with 65% fan speed without stressing the fan motor to the max which can cut the lifespan faster of it.

My current ATX build also uses NF-F12 iPPC 3000 fans. Actually it's not as loud as most people inform to others.

Thanks for caring, mate.. ?
