a few questions looking at replacing the screen with a 4k 17.3" ips panel. the one that was on it was 1080p 75hz 17.3" ips panel. but because i only have a gtx 1060 it will be kinda eh framerates for most games. so how well does it work to downscale from 4k-1080p using nvidia control panel. also ive heard that g-sync for laptops are built into more the graphics side is this true? any idea what i could get the panel to run at for 1080p? like 100-120hz maybe? its 4k 60hz.
