Hey gang.

I have a new build where I'm facing the below problems which I feel are related.

  • After windows restart the pc will not boot. Black screen no input but the pc stays ON
  • Exiting from bios would result in the same as above so I ruled out a windows error
  • If I disregard the restart issue and use the pc normally during gaming the pc would in black screen within 5 min. Which I assume is a gpu driver issue as it's not being installed correctly since the pc needs to restart during install.

Any help would be really appreciated, now I unistalled windows and trying to install but facing problems as windows install needs a restart.

Build

Ryzen 3 1300x used

Asrock ab350m pro4 refurbished

Ram Kingston 1x8 gb 2400

Gtx 1050ti 4gb colorful brand

Psu corsair 450w

A few things you can try. First, move the GPU from the top PCIe slot (Assuming thats where it is) and mount it to the bottom one and see if the troubles continue. If they do, then next step would be to try a different video card if you have one or the ability to borrow one for testing purposes to see if it continues with a different card. If it does continue, then the board is faulty. If it stops after you move it down to the bottom slot, try remounting it in the top slot and test again. If the troubles continually produce in the top slot, but not the bottom slot, then the motherboard is faulty. If the issue persists in both slots with your 1050ti, try and reseat the cable between the card and your display and see if that restores signal. If it does, then you may need to try and flash the BIOS on your card.

What makes you think it's a gpu error. Is it possible that the bios need to be flash. Is it possible that the motherboard was flashed with an error

I have had a problem like that and he might be right.
What makes you think that this might be a bios error?

If you can, also try a different GPU and a Monitor.
