Tizen VS Wear OS for non samsung phone

I have a huawei mate 10 pro and am looking for a smart watch to go with it. Want to be able to interact with it like with google assistant and navigate with maps. I have heard that tizen has some limitations on phones that are not samsung. which would be better wear OS or tizen??
