CPU for Game Recording/Streaming

Greetings everyone

So I was planning to build a second system for recording/streaming the games I play to a second computer because I have a few processors lying around. I have a Q8400 and an i7 920. I also have a H61 Motherboard(LGA1155).

So which one will be better for the above-mentioned task Q8400, i7 920 or i3 3220?

Let me know if I'm missing something, like a certain amount of RAM if that's a factor.

Thanks.

Keep it simple.

The i7 makes the most sense out of all 3. Multithreaded for stream encoding, decent single threaded (relatively speaking)

Yeah cause he obviously has an 8700k lying around mixed with those other 3

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I'll just go home then. :(

Good point but, I just want to use one of the CPUs which I already have. Used 8700k will still cost me more and this will be for a second computer. So I don't want to spend that much.

Keep it simple.
