Ps4 Controller Support GTA V

A week ago my xbox 360 controller broke and i've heard steam added native support for ps4 controllers and i wanted to buy one. Does anyone play gta v on pc with a ps4 controller and have buttons promps? With my xbox 360 controller i get a promp on the display which says what each button does. I've heard there's some programs which simulates an xbox controller but i don't want to get an lb message on a game when i'd have r1 or a Y prompt when i have a triangle. 

I mean these on the buttom

Some people discussed this here but they were using ds4 and i've heard steam added native support for ps4 controllers
