Hi There!

I am looking to complete my first custom PC build towards the end of this year and I want to include UV reactive parts in my build. I was looking online for UV led strips to go in the case but all appear to be powered by 4 pin molex. I ideally want to be able to turn the UV led strip on and off via software control/smart control (alexa, IFTTT etc.) but I don't know how to go about this if I can only connect to molex power that will switch on and off with the pc. I don't want to use Cablemods RGB/UV led strip because I have an Asus motherboard with Aura and this only has 4 pin RGB headers and not the 5 pin that is required for those led strips. I also want to avoid a remote control if possible. Any ideas on how I could do this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your reply! I had a look at that, seems like a good idea. Just wondering if there is an alternative of having a controller within the pc case that just connects to the motherboard via usb that is then controllable somehow? If not I will try the WLAN controller.

Thanks!
