I have Plextor SSD and want to know, Is my system boot-time normal?

Time - 31.1 Seconds Total (Measured by my phone's stopwatch)

BIOS Time - 8.1 Seconds

OS - Windows10 (Latest Version)

I have a couple of games like Fortnite, PUBG, Witcher 3 Installed and some Adobe sweet and Microsoft Office too

So I want to know is this a normal boot-time, and if you don't mind I would like to know your system's approx boot-time duration!

Thanks!

Just now, Supportsneedlove said:

If that's an SSD there's something wrong. But for an HDD that's actually not half bad.

I think I should go for good and reputed SSD makers like Samsung Evo!

And I guess I made a mistake by purchasing a Plextor SSD

What we mean is if that is the time it takes to get to the desktop or just the login screen?

Getting to the login screen should be fairly standard but getting to the desktop varies a lot depending on what you have installed and auto-starting on login.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)

it depends, whats your definition of "booting", are you talking to the login or to all your stuff to be loaded in down by the clock?

also is this a 2.5" or M.2? M.2's take a little longer to boot and can easily be in that load time range, M.2 booting adds 5-10 seconds to the boot time unless you go in and fix a setting in the bios that I read someone posted about somewhere but I never tried.

No brother, my motherboard supports M.2 but I knew its little slower than SSDs so I have installed Plextor SSD! I think the problem is in my BIOS settings! What do you think?
