A bit of background: I have the G7 Dell laptop, which uses the integrated and dedicated GPUs in a coprocessor mode, with the integrated GPU routing the installed 1060 to the right tasks that I assign (which is everything not windows, because integrated is bad). I only see issues when hooked up to my 4K display.

So, I am having issues with DWM on my laptop. The service is perfectly fine normally, but as soon as I boot a game, it causes a huge jump in usage of the integrated GPU. For whatever reason, that seems to bottleneck my 1060, which causes games that should have no problem running to stutter really badly (games like Terraria and The Banner Saga). I looked around, and noticed no solutions to the particular problem. I tried a few things that I found, to no effect, so I figured that I would post here. I was going to check if rolling back windows updates might help, but until then, I'm out of ideas, so any help would be appreciated!

The first photo is non-game use (GPU 0 and 2 are the same, and are the integrated graphics), and the second is in game at sub-60 fps running on the 1060 (GPU1/3). As you can see, there is no CPU or GPU bottleneck, other than in integrated
