Hi.

I have 4 monitors that i use for stocks trading.

I want to buy another monitor but i noticed that my CPU is 99% usage lately so i need an upgrade.

My motherboard is from my mining rigs that i recycled that i guess also needs to be upgraded.

All suggestions are welcome.

Current set up:

Processor       Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz, 3300 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

Motherboard  Asrock H110 +BTC

RAM              12 GB DD4  2400
GPU              Visiontek radeon hd 7750 eye 6

You can get any i5 or i7 from 6000 or 7000 series, and they will work without any other hardware changes.

CPU: i7 3770K | MB: EVGA Z77 FTW | RAM: HyperX Savage 2400Mhz 16GB | GPU: R9 280X Toxic | Cooler: Scythe Fuma | PSU: CoolerMaster B600

SSD: Crucial MX300 525GB | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB - Toshiba DT01ACA300 3TB

the 6th and 7th gen cpus are priced so close together now I would go with the 7th and I would go with the i7 over the i5 because you will get more years out of it being a 4 core 8 thread vs a 4 core 4 thread i5.  A lot of people still run old i7 3rd and 4th gen i7 cpus because they are still competitive in modern computing/gaming. I like that board you have if you put a good cpu in it it should give you years of reliable desktop performance with no issues because of it being way over built for mining.
