Replacement for old stereo

I had an old onkyo surround/stereo receiver go bad a few months ago. I could take it to a place nearby to have it fixed but I would like to replace it with something else for a cheap price. I have 5 speakers all using speaker wire and a subwoofer that is hooked up with an rca cable and a y splitter if needed. I would like to have something more modern and smaller that could replace it. If you know of a product please share it with me. Thank you
