Hey,

So I've got a EVGA Geforce 970 plugged into a ASUS Rengar VII Hero motherboard powered by a Corsair CX 750M PSU.

My PC was working fine but while playing League of Legends everyone would freeze for a second, I'd lose signal and then everything would come back with a bugsplat from League client and I would reload the game and carry on playing. Then after Windows 7 had loaded my PC would restart itself while left idle. Now my GPU won't even spin at all. I'm not sure if my GPU is dying or my PSU is dying. I've tried using an old GeForce 260 GTX and that doesn't even spin at all. I've provided a YouTube video showing what my GPU fans are doing.

I've been using my PC fine for the past few days using onboard grahics, no problems at all.

Sounds like the power supply is failing to provide enough power

Wellif neither card is working, can you use igpu to verify its not posting or does the board have a post code readout?

My PC is working perfectly fine using onboard graphics I only run into problems when I plug in a GPU. Either the PSU is dying and providing less power or my GPU is dying and no longer working as intended.

If you know if I can boot using onboard graphics to detect my GPU whilst plugged in please let me know.

It will work all the same. Just keep the power plugged into the gpu.

Boot and do a stress test on the cpu. Need to draw as much as you can to see if it is the psu.

I've got no signal from the GPU. My PC only boots with onboard graphics.

Yea I get that. Im saying boot up and stress test the cpu. Keeping the card in and connected to the psu.

Yeah I'm going to try and figure out if I can keep my GPU in the motherboard while using onboard graphics to draw power from the PSU.
