high end storage system

assuming that i'm using a x79 motherboard, what would be the best solution if i was going to be using 2 ssd's in raid 0, and 4 hdd's in raid 10?

it's too bad noctua industrial fans are SO expensive

Your title says "high end storage system" but you not building a NAS. What exactly is the purpose of this build?

 

Also, RAID-0 and RAID-10 aren't CPU intensive. You can use the onboard Intel RAID (aka. fake RAID) given enough SATA ports.
